The beach was very windy and very cold but was worth it for the photos.

And then they were married!!!
We are so thrilled for so many reasons
1. We love Allyson- nice work Dan.
2. We are so happy they are living less than an hour away.
3. We can't wait for our new baby cousin!

We had a great time in Vermont for Ian and Kristin's wedding in Woodstock.
The weekend was also full of fun activities with great friends.

5 years!
We can't believe it has been 5 years since our wedding. We have such great memories of that day and we can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring.

Party Suite

Baer and I snuck up to the party suite in the morning to see what had transpired. We had left when someone mentioned the need to order dominos pizza. Well it was ordered and eaten.

We were glad to see everyone made it to bed and we were also glad we did not wake up in the morning like the pictures above.

Nice Surprise
I don't actually have any more pictures of the wedding, you'll have to refer to Erin's blog for that : ) We did have a nice surprise when we returned to our room. Chris, the wedding coordinator was great and set up some cake, champagne, and drinks for when we returned to the room. He also left a beautiful note about insights to marriage. The Ocean View did a fabulous job and they really made our day feel special.

Of course I'll climb out a window.

PS there are all Erin's pictures because I don't actually have any of my own.

Earl was a dud!
Monday, August 30, 2010
Or not.....
By Friday evening or early Saturday morning, Hurricane Earl should be off the coast of Cape Cod. Right now, the NHC cone of error has parts of North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine all in it. This means that according to computer model forecasts, the storm could directly impact these areas. Having said this, the official projected path that the NHC is putting out would have Earl missing the US East Coast by about 100-150 miles. All interests on the East Coast should pay attention over the next few days.
Bring your own tarp for the inn in case the roof blows off ...............again, or atleast some big waves to watch off the coast.

10-day
Sunday
September 5, 2010
Sunny
0% Chance of Rain
|
75°F
For someone who has had crappy weather for almost every event in her life this is amazing.
Proms...........Rain. Homecoming Dances...............................Rain.
College graduation................rain/snow downpour. Moved into a gym. Very anticlimactic.
I also told myself I would not be the girl that checks the 10-day forecast. Oh well :)
Hopefully it will hold up!
