A boy and "his" dog.

 Charlie knows who owns dogs . Karl has Oscar, Dan has Molly, Grace has Molly, Mimi and Papa have Holly, and Charlie has Bela.  Well not exactly, but he did do a good job telling her to sit and going for walks.  

Bon Voyage Dan and Allyson

First Boat Ride

 The empty dry dock on the way to the ferry. 

 Charlie took the ferry from Charlestown to Boston as his first boat ride. It was nice and windy which made it very exciting. 

Baby Proofing the Boat

On Memorial Day Charlie and I went into Boston to hand out with Uncle Dan.  We started by quickly baby proofing the boat.  It was pretty easy. 

Special Visitor

 Charlie and I went to visit Uncle Danny and Aunt Sarah. Charlie had some special privileges which included having the boat heated up to 64 degrees!

Captain Dan

 Either I fixed the settings or the sun started going down...but I got some good shots of our Captain for the afternoon. We sailed out to Long Island ( Massachusetts, not NY), anchored and grilled up some hot dogs.  It was a great afternoon. The baby even steered the boat....via my belly resting on the steering wheel ( not sure it's called a steering wheel on a boat but that's all I can think of at the moment)

A Little Off

I think my settings were a little off for a bright boat ride, but the pictures are kind of good anyhow.  

Fishing

We headed into Dan's boat one day for some fishing. We successfully caught some bait fish, but the bigger ones were a bit allusive.

I went to go pick Dan up as he prepared for Irene, Sarah was well prepared and was looking good before and after Irene.

Sailing on the 4th

Dan took us out for a sail on the 4th of July! We had a great time. Our destination was to go around Graves Island.
