Chuck and Charlie

 Chuck stopped by on his way up to Maine after selling their house on the Cape.  

Charlie had fun hanging out and hearing about all the fun things Chuck wants to teach him.

Everything's bigger in Texas

Kendall and Aubrey got so big !   They were up visiting (with their parents of course) and we got to go see them down on the cape.  

Challenge Accepted

 Chuck whole heartedly  accepted the challenge to try to land on the big beach ball.  It made some valiant attempts.  

Chuck's dad thought he could teach his son a few things....

Visitors from Texas

Alli, Chuck and the girls came up from Texas so I went up one afternoon to visit.  I couldn't get over Kendall's hair and how big she and Aubrey are getting!  

Cowboy Boots

Baer and I helped Chuck and Alli with their moving sale. It was a great success and people got a kick out of the moving truck being in the driveway as the tag sale was going on. As Aubrey said " We're moving to Texas, I need to get some cowboy boots!"

Chilly Cape Cod

I went down to keep Ally company down on the cape. We tried to spend some time at the playground, but it was a little chilly.

Godparents

Baer and I got our first taste of "parenthood" when we became Kendall's godparents. It was a really great ceremony. Thanks Chuck and Alli!

I got to go first to put the oil on Kendall's forehead, once she figured out what was going on she wouldn't let Baer get his turn in.

Sandy Neck

On Sunday, pre-Canadian forest fire smoke we got to drive out onto Sandy Neck beach. We parked our car at one of Baer's friends houses (of course he knows someone who lives near the guard house) and rode out in Chuck's big blue jeep with Alli and the girls. We didn't get a shot of the jeep from this trip but here it is from a previous excursion.

On the way home we got to ride back in the trailer and hear all the comments about the giant, excessively accessorized jeep that was pulling it both before and after Chuck made the sound system play ice cream truck music.

Godparents

Baer and I went down to visit Chuck and Alli on the Cape for Memorial Day weekend and were asked to be Kendall's godparents. Of course we enthusiastically accepted and cannot wait to make it official.
