First Beach Trip

 We had our first beach day in Scituate for Gagnon Equipment Day.  

Charlie had to get over the seaweed and crabs .

Walden Pond

We made our first summer trip to Walden Pond today. It was perfect.

Summer Fun

 We've been pretty busy so far this summer, but when we are home we have a pretty good set up.

Father's Day Boat Ride

 We went to Karl's house for Father's day and after the rain cleared away got to take a boat ride.  It was a beautiful night.  

 This is the calm part before Charlie told Karl to go fast.  

 Happy Father's Day Baer!  Charlie and I are both lucky to have you!  

Ready for Summer!

 Yesterday was the last day of school so Charlie and I are ready for a fun summer! I also just got our camera all cleaned and ready to go ( hence the lack of pictures lately)  

All Done!

We stayed out at the beach until 530. It was such a great day and now that this blog post is showing up in the middle of September I'm sure I will be happy to think back to our fabulous summer!

 When the tide did come in we had a nice pool to hang out in for a little bit.  

Giant Hole = best idea ever.

 After seeing some other beach goers we convinced Baer and Steve to dig a giant hole for the boys to play in.  It was pretty much the best idea ever. They played in it all day .. until the tide came in.

 All that was just the lead up to the main event.   An entire beach day.  

Charlie was also running on about 6 hours of sleep. I had 5 hours while Baer had about 2.  

Wrapping it Up

 We finished up our visit to Maine with some riding of Baer's tractor from when he was a kid

 and swimming in Falmouth. Thanks for a great visit!

All Aboard

No rest for Grandpa

 Charlie did lots of swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's pool.  

Summer Outings

 We've been doing a lot of different things this summer, but I don't always have the energy to take my camera along. I did bring it to Drumlin farms one afternoon. The animals were cool until Charlie saw the tractor.  

We took a hay ride. When Charlie learned he wasn't going to sit on the tractor he was a little upset, but got over it.  

Sprinkler Time!

 Grandpa showed Charlie how to play in the sprinkler.

 He quickly jumped in after learning how to "whack" it

 Getting his car washed was also a hit. 

 I suspect there will be more hours of sprinkler playing at this house.
