MOS

We had our first trip to the Museum of Science. Our friends Megan, Noah and Natalie invited us. I foresee many trips back in our future!

Bugs and Rocks

We moved onto examining some bugs and rocks after the dinos.

That's a kind of nugget Parker Schnabel wants!

Natural History

Charlie got his science on when we went to the Harvard Museum of Natural  History.  It's free on Sundays until noon.  Once he got over the fact that it was not the children's museum I think he enjoyed himself.

Buddies.

Ella, Josie and Ruth were My Little Ponies.  I tried to explain to Charlie what My Little Ponies Are and I settled on…they are sparkly horses.

Someone has them all looking at the camera in the one above..it's just not me.

Boating in Boston

If Charlie becomes a famous photographer - this is his first picture
It was a beautiful night for a boat ride in Boston with Papa Baer's high school alumni group.

We also kept busy with photoshoots.

Charlie made it until the fireworks which didn't start until 10:30pm!

Keeping the boys busy.

We did a good job keeping the boys busy while waiting for the fireworks.
We watched the helicopters flying over.
We let them warm up the ice luge with water.

4th of July

We went into Boston for the fireworks on the 4th.
I'm sure when BC put in his glass floor/skylight the first thing he imagined would be kids playing Paw Patrol on it.

Giant Tank = Giant Ramps to run on.

We went to see ( ran up and down) the giant tank twice.  We saw the turtles getting fed and the hit of the trip was watching the scuba divers in the tank.

Waiting for the "scuber divers" to come back
After this we had some lunch in the cafe and went home. The line to get in was about 75 people long by this point. We certainly timed it right.

Touch Tank

The shark and ray touch tank was really cool. Charlie had no interest in touching anything but we liked to look.

Seeing the Seals. It was actually pretty warm out on Friday so going to see the seals outside wasn't too bad. It also  gave Charlie another opportunity to run around full speed wherever he wanted.

Big Event

The big event of the week was going to the New England Aquarium.  Besides the fact that Charlie thinks every place he goes to is a playground to run full speed around in it was pretty successful.

The Penguins were getting fed. We got there around 9:00 when it opened which was perfect.

So Big

So when you ask Charlie if he is a baby he says
"No"
"Boy"
He is certainly a boy now and he proved it by playing on the huge playground in Boston Common.

Ducks

We visited the ducks in Boston while Baer was was at car show in the Commons.
It's crazy how much Charlie has changed in a year. Here he is last year with the ducks.
