Pool Time

We finally got some pool time on the day we were leaving.  The scrape on Charlie's nose is from falling out of bed ( we think)

Also, incase you were wondering, I know we are still posting pictures from over a month ago , but you are not missing much.  March has not been very exciting.

A Blustery Dinner

We went out to the beach for dinner, but ended up eating inside. It was VERY windy.

Monkeys at the Zoo

All the other kids and parents were very jealous of Charlie's sweet ride at the zoo.
It was so much more fun than a stroller.
Everytime I see Baer and Charlie's blue eyes come out in a picture like this I smile.

Feeding the "Raffes"

Charlie was practicing holding the lettuce "tall like a tree"
With his tendency to stand in line for things and then be too scared to actually do the activity I was a bit nervous for this one.
Mickey Mouse:  Scary
Plastic Thomas the Train:  Scary
Actual Gigantic Animal eating from your hand:  Not scary

Naples Zoo

We had a few "chilly" days.  One day we went to the zoo. It was a big hit with Charlie.

Florida in February

The whole travel part of this trip was horrible, it involved 4 extra nights, 3 hotels, 22 hours of driving, 3 airplanes, 1 mechanical delay, 2 plane cancellations, 2 diner stops, 1 rental car, 8+ highway rest stops, one trip to cracker barrel, one trip to ruby tuesdays and 1 case of food poisoning.

Charlie officially thinks Florida is VERY VERY far away.

Even though the traveling was very difficult, we held it together and so did Charlie.  Our time in Florida was great.  Charlie spent a lot of time getting used to his new swim vest.
