Baer fed Charlie this weekend and I warned him of holding the bowl out of Charlie's reach....well Charlie found his one opportunity to pounce and I caught it on film.

Jumping Around

 We spent an afternoon with Erin and the girls and Charlie got to try out the jumper. I think there is one in our future....

Still Loves It!

 Charlie still loves his playmate!  Here is our first post of him playing on it. He's growing up so fast!

Hamstrings

We thought Charlie would have the Neilan curse of being very inflexible, he would never play with his feet like other babies, he played with is knees.  Well he must be doing baby yoga in his free time because he can touch his feet now.  

The First Supper

The same day as Charlie's Doctor's appointment Charlie had his first real food (well besides the food I've been letting him taste for the past 2 weeks) He did a good job especially since it was his first time in the high chair as well.  We'll have more tomorrow.  

4 month stats

We just got back from the Doctors for Charlie's 4 month appointment. He is 27 inches long (93%ile) and 14.3 lbs (22 %itle)  I thought he was starting to chunk up a but I guess I was wrong. He got 4 shots like a champ and we got the go ahead to start food. To celebrate Charlie is taking a nap. 

 Thanks for taking good care of us Grandma and Grandpa!  

We had a fun time weathering the blizzard with you.  

Snow Baby

Charlie had to go check out that snow!  He'll be out there playing one day.

 We woke up to a plow being stuck in the street and a heck of a lot of snow to shovel.

Being that it is valentines day I feel like I should post about love.  

I love Baer and Charlie and our wonderful family and friends. 

I also love brand new boxes of Crayola Crayons! ( That picture above..the beautiful sight of unused crayons...I love it!)

We needed to keep busy during the Blizzard so we did some crayon crafts.

RollOver Surprise

Charlie rolled over and realized he found himself a pillow! Too bad he's not allowed to use a pillow. He's in a sleeping transition where he shouldn't be swaddled anymore, but doesn't want to be unswaddled.  We've tried the Magic Merlin Sleep Suit....that was an epic fail. He hated it and the puffy suit gave his arms the spring to fling his noonie across the crib.  Regular sleep sack is next....hopefully something works soon! 

Weekend Visit

 Auntie Gretchen, Grammy and Papa Baer came up for the weekend.  

We had a very nice visit. Charlie had his first trip to the mall and his second trip to Paparazzi for dinner.
