Christmas Eve

We had a very nice Christmas Eve with Baer's family and Omie.  Charlie was so good and slept while we had dinner.  

Ladies Man

 Charlie wooed all the Connard ladies while we were up in Maine for Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Working Hard!

Baby Grandma is working on her hip these days and we hear Charlie is posted up in her room. Charlie hopes she's doing really well and wants to come visit soon! Good job Babe!

Special Visitor

 Charlie and I went to visit Uncle Danny and Aunt Sarah. Charlie had some special privileges which included having the boat heated up to 64 degrees! 

Santa Paws

We haven't brought Charlie to meet Santa Claus, but he did get to meet Santa Paws this weekend!  

Molly and Charlie are going to be great friends, Dan already tugs her tail so she's ready when Charlie is on the move. Charlie was all dressed up for Erin and Nate's Christmas party that evening. He is one boy who needs to get used to being on the go with Baer and me as his parents!

Lots to Look At

 Charlie loves to lay and look out the slider and kick and punch. His favorite toys are the mirror and the bug that has a bell inside it.  Now he has the Christmas tree to add to his play area. This year's ornament theme is all breakable ornaments since next year we will have to do all unbreakable ornaments I'm sure!

Where's Mom?!

I had to go back to work this week, it wasn't as bad as I expected and I have to say I am incredibly impressed with Baer's dad skills.  He had Charlie for 3 whole days and they had a great time.  He gave lots of bottles and changed lots of diapers.  They even went on a few outings and did a few loads of laundry.  Our friend Justin remarked "I've never heard of a dad taking care of a baby when it's that little".. well Baer did it and he did great!

Charlie's First Christmas Tree

 Auntie Gretchen bought Charlie his first Christmas tree at her Junior League Silent Auction.  Charlie loves it, we lay on the ground and look at the lights. We also read Twas the Night before Christmas together, I read....Charlie kicks and punches.  

2 Month Stats

 We had Charlie's 2 month appointment last week. He is still long and lean. 

He is 25 inches long and weighs 11.3 lbs.  That's 96% for height 35th% for weight.  In other more practical news.....he outgrew his monster pajamas :(  We put them on and he can't quite straighten his legs ( not good for effective kicking and punching).  So sad. I'm sure they make them in an bigger size I'll have to get a pair.

Daddy's Home!

Baer went to Florida for the PRI trade show.  Both me and Charlie were very happy to have him home!  

Little Boy Blue

 We have been wondering if Charlie's blue eyes will stick around and Baer's parents dressed to compliment him very nicely! 

Sunset Launch

 I feel like watching rockets launch in to the setting sun should have some more indepth meaning but really we just get excited when they don't get stuck in the trees. Although one rocket went up and never came down....

Thanksgiving Afternoon

 Charlie slept through dinner and then got to see his first rocket launch. 

He also got to meet his cousins Carly and Steven and lots of other fun people!

Wooding Season

Charlie participated in his first wooding season up at Dean's house.  He got his first ride on a John Deere.  Cutest John Deere operator ever! 

At the Racetrack

 Charlie and I went up to New Hampshire to see Baer's Lemons race.   Charlie slept through most of the day, those headphones worked well!
