U have 3 baby quilts to make this summer...here is the first one!

Dancing Robots

We also go to see one student's summer project. A dancing hexapod. It was based off of theses robots http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXMnbNoccgA Who knew there were so many dancing robots out there.

Science Ice Cream

The students also made us ice cream using liquid Nitrogen.

Massachusetts Institutue of Technology

For my summer job we took the kids to MIT for some very scientific activities.
We got to see the windtunnel AND go in it WHILE IT WAS ON! It was very cool and very windy!

Pretty Patriotic Sites

We saw some pretty Patriotic sites on our trip. We had to wait for the Constitution to finish turning around. We saw the cannons go off and then it slowly...very slowly turned around and went back to dock.

I tried to get an up close view on the ride back to Boston.

Sailing on the 4th

Dan took us out for a sail on the 4th of July! We had a great time. Our destination was to go around Graves Island.

Garden

Gretchen was able to come up to Boston too and we had a really nice time. We took a walk out to the Healing Garden at the Yawkey Center and why we decided to take a picture in front of this brick wall instead of the view of the Charles River...who knows...

Newest Duck Driver

After all the kids on the boat had a turn driving, our duck tour guide got Priscilla up in the drivers seat. We all got out of the river safely. Good Job!

Quack Quack

The Connard's were in town last week, we had great weather and
took a Duck Tour around the city. We learned a lot of information about the city
and it was a very nice time!

Happy 4th of July

Lone Survivor

This is the lone survivor of the snow peas that were mowed down by our garden visitor. :(
Our strawberries were also totally demolished. Oh well.
