Our garden is in full swing this year. He herbs are doing very well, but we have a few issues in the forms of mice or moles. Amanda won't let me kill them so I sprayed peppermint oil around because I read that keeps them away. We'll see, the next step will be to chop their heads off.
Here are a few more views. Actually this is the same view but the one above was on Saturday on the "clearer" day. Dan and I actually determined it was nice out even though it was cloudy the whole time.
We did some exploring of the island and started to feel like we were part of the TV show lost. There were abandoned buildings from WWI and WWII and Dan and I loved the advice from the Rangers. " If you see it you can climb on it, just be careful" you don't usually hear that.....
Campsite #6 was it. Ranger Rick described it as tropical. I could see it. We had a great view of Boston and could hear the waves crashing ( along with the fog horns and planes taking off from Logan)
Dan booked a campsite on Lovell's Island in Boston Harbor back in January. In his words he says, "everyone was gung ho back in January, but once a rainy June weekend shows up no one wants to go" well I went and it was great! Thanks Dan!
Jess and Chris had a very nice wedding in CT in the beginning of June, they had their own paparazzi at the wedding. We felt a little insignificant with our little point and shoot. Congratulations guys!
Even though this is a grainy picture via Baer's phone, we had a nice dinner celebrating Baer's birthday, Priscilla's birthday and Priscilla and Mr. Baer's anniversary. Whew! Those Connards jam a lot of important events into a small amount of days. Happy everything everybody!
