Antsy

I was getting a little antsy waiting for the sun to come out. Luckily it did and we headed back down to the pool for the rest of the afternoon. It was a lovely mini moon and also a nice 30th birthday too.
A word of advice, if you go to the Wentworth spa tips are included. We tipped twice. I guess it pays to read the pamphlet. Literally.

Happy Birthday Babe!

Here is our Baby Grandma. Yup, you read it correctly. A Grandma that is Baby.
Baby Grandma is 90 today! Some of my favorite Baby Grandma memories are making cardboard cars and houses in the basement, getting tucked in really well when she babysat, and when we hit her in the head with a coconut down at Bob. (sorry about that) Bob is a house and a story for another day.
Happy Birthday Baby Grandma! We love you!

Black Berrying

The next morning was a little cloudy so after breakfast we used the hot tub at the spa ( it was more like luke warm) and walked around the gardens a little later.

Baer's blackberry and I have never had a love love relationship, but when I equate it to how people spend all morning reading a newspaper.........he just spends all morning reading his blackberry.

I'm sure everyone who comes here takes this picture. We were no exception.

A lot to Celebrate

For our dessert at the Wentworth we got some lovely messages. The first message was "Happy Anniversary", which I thought applied because it was technically out zero year anniversary. Then they realized they sent the wrong dish so we got "Congratulations". I told them that even "Happy Birthday" would have applied, but they didn't bring us more dessert...they just laughed.

Happy Birthday Ella!

Happy Birthday Ella!
Happy one year of raising your daughter Erin and Nate!
Love Julie and Baer

Another Nice Surprise

Erin and Nate sent a bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries to our room. It was disguised as to who sent it at first because the card was written out to George and Julie. Who's George?! oh yeah............

Since it was bought at the Wentworth we were able to bring it down to dinner!
Thanks guys, it was awesome and the strawberries were excellent!

MiniMoon

We had one night to recover before I had school starting and what a better way to do it than here. The weather was perfect for our 2 day, one night honeymoon to the Wentworth by the sea.

Mourning

I can see why people are sad their wedding is over. It was a lot of work, but worth every moment in the amount of memories we have from it. But, even though I understand why people are sad when it's over. I am not, it was everything I hoped it would be and I wouldn't change a thing.

Brunch

We had a lovely brunch the next morning before people went on their way. It was so great to be able to say good-bye to everyone and you couldn't beat the view.

Party Suite

Baer and I snuck up to the party suite in the morning to see what had transpired. We had left when someone mentioned the need to order dominos pizza. Well it was ordered and eaten.

We were glad to see everyone made it to bed and we were also glad we did not wake up in the morning like the pictures above.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday Mom! We got a great shot of you and dad out on the rocks the morning after the wedding. Decompressing from the whole event I'm sure.

Nice Surprise

I don't actually have any more pictures of the wedding, you'll have to refer to Erin's blog for that : ) We did have a nice surprise when we returned to our room. Chris, the wedding coordinator was great and set up some cake, champagne, and drinks for when we returned to the room. He also left a beautiful note about insights to marriage. The Ocean View did a fabulous job and they really made our day feel special.

Of course I'll climb out a window.

So when we met our photographer he told us that he likes to photograph couples that will basically do anything. Well I did not want to disappoint him so when he proposed that I climb out the window onto the roof to wait for Baer I said. SURE! NO PROBLEM! Here we are examining the roof, which was a little slippery in heels I'm not going to lie.
I'm sure the final result in pictures was great and it was a special way to see each other before the wedding while our family got a watch from down below.
PS there are all Erin's pictures because I don't actually have any of my own.

TheTuxedo

Even though finding a tux isn't quite as involved as finding a dress, Baer looked very handsome in his tuxedo! He followed the schedule that i made him and was ready exactly when he needed to. He even ate both breakfast and lunch as per my instructions.

The Dress

I love love love my dress. It was perfect for the venue and for me. I tried it on in a size 18 and it took a little convincing to make people believe that this was the dress, but I knew it was. When I tried it on and my knees got wobbly I knew that was it!

Rehersal Dinner

Rehearsal went well, everyone knew their job and how to do it. We had a great food and very good strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Earl was a dud!

So the wedding weekend came and now I have a lot of blog updating to do! We got a new camera for the wedding so we are back in business.
We had the best weekend ever, starting with the weather.
