Since our camera is broken I can link you to Erin's Blog and add some of my commentary.
The kids all look neat and clean right here but going to the beach with 3 young children is a mess and I don't know how my parents ever did it.
Let me tell you about some of the events of the day.
1. Ella peed on me. This was totally unrelated to the beach, her diaper just leaked while she was on my lap. It's okay, Ella I still love you.
2. The "kids blanket" reached the point of no return when Thomas was pouring buckets of water from the little pool onto the blanket which was already covered in sand.
3. At least 5 lbs of sand was unintentionally consumed throughout the day. "oh that piece of cheese fell in the sand...looks yummy..I think I should eat it. "
All I know is that those ladies, Erin and Amy are like superwomen in my eyes. Superwomen that can deal with a lot of sand in a lot of places. It was a fun day and can't wait to go again though!

Uh Oh
So our camera broke. Legit broke. The focus stopped working so it only took blurry pictures and now it is officially in at least 10 pieces. So my next step is to find my old camera because even though it is old, it still works. Everything will have to be on hold until then.

Nice day for a Swrim.
We were lucky it didn't rain for our shower but it was SO HOT! I got very warm and told Baer that as soon as we were done opening presents I was jumping in the pool. He took the much classier route and put his bathing suit on first.

Erin only needed a few chants of encouragement along the lines of "Erin, Erin, Erin" to convince her to dive in too.

Homemade
Homemade gifts definitley deserve some extra attention so here they are.
Erin made us an excellent crazy quilt Christmas Tree skirt that we will treasure forever. Both she and my Aunt Karen have one that they made themselves and I'm so honored to join the club.
Kevin has an internship at Diablo Glass in Boston and used some of his time to make this great vase with blue and black swirled in. It's awesome. Thanks guys!...We Love Them!

The Big Event
The Big Event of a shower is the opening of the gifts and we couldn't figure out how to avoid it. To make it a bit more entertaining Erin made us a sign to help thank everyone for our gifts. Baer did an excellent job making sure everyone was properly thanked and my dad announced our gifts through the bull horn so everyone could participate in BINGO. I am not convinced that every shower needs a bull horn and a Thank you sign.
